Mission Statement
The Political Philosophy Review is a journal devoted to publishing academic quality research in the field of political philosophy from outside academic institutions. The field of political philosophy is experiencing a resurgence, but not within the ideologically gatekept halls of the university. The truly interesting ideas in this field are coming from fugitive academics, anonymous online posters and the intellectual leaders in the dissident sphere. This journal will be a place you can find their most polished and carefully researched ideas.
The target audience for this journal are people who are well-read in the field of political philosophy or who have a desire to expand their knowledge.
Submissions are encouraged and will be evaluated by our editorial board and peers through a blind review process. Some of the editors have advanced degrees in the field. But others are self-taught and have proved their intellectual worth in other ways. No matter their backgrounds, all editors share the desire to provide a platform for the vast amounts of untapped intellectual energy and talent that has been systematically excluded from academic institutions.
The long-term goal of this journal is to establish an ecosystem of academic publishing that can rival and eventually replace the current publishing institutions dominated by progressive political activism. This journal is a first step in that direction and we hope you will join us.
