What we publish:

Political Philosophy Review will consider manuscripts that provide quality research and analysis in the broad field of political philosophy. This is inclusive of approaches that go under other names such as political theory, history of political thought, canonical political thought, and contemporary political thought.

Preference will be given to dissident perspectives, ones unable to receive a fair hearing in other academic journals.

Submission guidelines:

Length and Abstract - submissions should be 5,000 to 11,000 words. Each submission must be accompanied by an abstract 150 to 200 words.

Style and Preparation - Political Philosophy Review follows the Chicago Manual of Style for standards of citation, punctuation, and other editorial considerations. Footnotes in 10 pt. Times New Roman, single-spaced, with full bibliographic information at first citation of a given work; parenthetical page references in-text for frequently cited works. No endnotes or reference lists. Consult Chicago Manual of Style, 16th ed., chap. 14 for the proper form of citations.

Where to submit your manuscript:

To submit your manuscript, send an email to politicalphilosophyreview@protonmail.com with the document attached in docx format. All authorship identifying markers should be removed from the document. Include name, short bio, and affiliations in the body of the email.

All manuscripts will be evaluated by the editorial board for their quality and suitability for inclusion in the journal. If approved by the board, manuscripts will be sent for review by peers through a blind review process.

Anonymous Authorship - we do accept manuscripts from authors who wish to publish under a pseudonym. This is in recognition of the reality that free and open inquiry today can come with substantial risk to an author's livelihood. We respect the judgement of those who choose to take precautions by protecting their identity.
